GENERAL BOOKING TERMS

1. GUEST NAMES:

First Name, Last Name as in the passport along with date of birth of each guest is required at the time of booking. Due to security considerations, any variations can result in denied boarding at the pier and 100% cancellation fee applied.

2. FARES, DEPOSIT & PAYMENTS

All fares are subject to availability at the time of booking. A deposit of 10% along with first and last name along with date of birth is required to secure a confirmation. Balance payment is due at least 90days prior to the sailing date. If booking within 90days of sailing, full pre-payment is required to confirm a booking.

3. PAYMENT OPTION:

All payments must be sent directly to our bank account details of which are provided along with option booking details. Princess Cruises does accept major credit cards.

4. CRUISE FARE INCLUDES

Shipboard accommodation as reserved and paid for, ocean transportation as per itinerary, all meals onboard, some non-alcoholic beverages available in vending machines (tea, coffee, lemonade and iced-tea), Room Service, recreation and entertainment onboard.
Princess offers choice of Traditional Dining with fixed time and seating or Anytime Dining with the flexibility to dine when and with whom you choose. Specialty restaurants are available with nominal cover charges.

5. CRUISE FARE DOES NOT INCLUDE

Items of a personal nature, such as transfers, shore excursions, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, spa treatments, dining in the specialty restaurants, laundry, telephone, email, internet, photographs, medical services, gratuities or other items not specifically stated as included in the cruise cost.

6. SERVICE CHARGES

A discretionary Hotel and Dining charge of $13.95 per person for mini-suites and suites, and $12.95 per passenger in all other staterooms per day (including children) will be added to your shipboard account on a daily basis. This charge will be shared amongst staff who help provide and support your cruise experience, including the wait-staff, stateroom stewards, buffet stewards, galley staff and others. A 15% gratuity is added to bar charges and dining room wine accounts.

7. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Passport: A valid passport is required for travel. It is recommended that your passport expiry day does not occur within 6 months of disembarkation date.
Visa: It is guest’s responsibility to obtain the required visas as per the cruise itinerary. Current and up-do-date information can be sourced from the Embassy / Consulate of the country you intend to visit.
Guests who do not possess appropriate travel documents will be denied boarding by local immigration officials and no refund will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.

8. CANCELLATION POLICY

The following cancellation policy applies with respect to your Cruise Fare, Cruisetour Fare, and Pre-Cruise and Post-Cruise Package Charges (“Total Charges”):

CANCELLATION POLICY EXCEPTION: If you have purchased a specially priced promotion that is 100% non-refundable from the point of payment, you are not entitled to any refund, payment, compensation or credit whatsoever of your cruise or cruise-tour fare if you cancel your booking.
Change Fees: A $50.00 service fee per passenger, per change will be assessed for each change to the cruise beginning 30days prior to sailing date. Cruise Master reserves the right to levy an additional $50.00 per person administrative fee for all refunds.

9. PRINCESS CANCELLATION FEE WAIVER PROGRAM

Through the Cancellation Fee Waiver Program (CFW), Princess Cruises and/or Princess Tours will waive the non-refundable cancellation fee and refund the otherwise non-refundable value in the event that you or your travelling companions need to cancel the cruise vacation for any reason.
Upon purchase of the non-refundable CFW, no cancellation fees will be assessed provided that Princess Cruises is notified by telephone or in writing at least 72 hours prior to midnight preceding the passenger's scheduled departure date to the embarkation point of the vessel.
Cost is 10% of Cruise Fare up to $5000 and 8% of Cruise Fare of $5000 or more. This program must be paid for with the deposit and cannot be added at a later date. The program is not available for bookings made within final payment period and is not refundable under any circumstances, once paid.
IMPORTANT: Please keep in mind if you do not purchase Princess’s CFW program, you are strongly advised to have adequate alternative travel protection coverage. There will be no refund of cancellation or interruption fees by Princess under any circumstances. You must recover fees from your own travel protection plan. Medical and evacuation costs are your responsibility. Princess is not responsible for medical / evacuation bills incurred by you, even if Princess has assisted in making arrangements on your behalf.

10. AGE REQUIREMENTS

Passengers under the age of 21 years must travel in a stateroom with a passenger 21years or older who shall assume responsibility for their care during the cruise. For family groups bookings multiple staterooms, the minimum age of reach stateroom is 16 years of age, providing they are traveling with a parent or legal guardian.
Age requirements for children: Children over six (6) months of age at the date of sailing will be accepted on sailing in Alaska, Canada & New England, Caribbean, Europe, Mexico and Panama Canal.
For other schedules, minimum age to cruise is one (1) year at the date of sailing.
For escorted cruise-tours, children should be at least five (5) years old.

11. PREGNANCY POLICY

Pregnant women are not allowed to sail if they are entering the 24th week of their pregnancy by the last day of the cruise. All pregnant women, in their second trimester, are required to produce a physician’s letter stating that mother and baby are in good health, fit to travel and the pregnancy is not high-risk.

12. FUEL DISCLOSURE STATEMENT

Please be advised that Princess Cruises reserves the right to re-instate the the fuel supplement for all passengers at up to USD $9 per person, per day if the New York Mercantile Exchange Index oil price exceeds $70 per barrel, even if fares have been paid in full.

13. E-DOCUMENTS

Guest Information Form: In order to get onboard faster and easier, please provide your travel documents information by logging in at – Cruise Personalizer. You will need your cruise booking number and passport details of each person in your party.
A detailed summary of your cruise vacation can be printed within 45 days of the sailing date provided full payment has been applied to your booking.
Boarding Passes & Luggage Tags will be issued after the required immigration information has been completed which includes registering a Credit Card for Onboard charges. Passengers paying in cash will be required to leave a $300 per person cash deposit with the Pursers staff at the beginning of the cruise.

14. PASSAGE CONTRACT
